Flash MX Components Most Wanted:

I contributed a component to the book Flash MX Most wanted orignally published by Friends of ED.

Friends of ed titles are now owned by Apress. Information on the book can be found at the friends of ed web site.

Updated version of the Event calendar component:

This updated version (version 1.2) resolves issues with HTML rendering within the description field for an event. If you want to have the description contain links, bold, coloured text etc then I recomend you download and install the updated version of the component.

The following zip file: eventcalendarcomponent.zip

contains the updated component file (the MXP file) as well as the component source files and a sample.

You will need to install the new version of the component and update it in and fla files that use the old version.
